News: Mandatory update
I simply can't ignore this timestamp :)
I've uploaded the newest Modarchive digest (from the 2007 additional selection) - although fairly small, it does contain two very appropriate songs for this cold time of year, at least.
I've also permanently moved my portfolio to drysmian.com

Goodies: The (non-existent) modarchive digest 2010
I'm very sorry to report that I did not manage to make a digest out of the 2010 additions. There's only 1 (one) module I really like. Well, actually there are about 5 more but those are MODs I've had for years. I kind of expected the additions to be somewhat worse than the previous one (that seems to be the unfortunate trend here) but this is too much.

Legacy: Materials and currency in RPGs
Various materials (usually metals) in games often serve as a quality indicator similar to the +n rating in D&D. Sometimes it's somewhat justified (blades made of harder metals stay sharp longer) sometimes it's just plain silly (adamantium bows that have better damage than… iron bows? Seriously?).

News: Yet another redesign

News: MODarchive digest 2009 and RSS feed
modarchive 2009 digest …not nearly as good as the 2008 one I'm afraid.
There's a RSS feed now but it seems I missed the 10.10.10 update.Well, let's hope I won't forget the next year.
I should also mention the Portfolio section in the unlikely case someone is interested.

News: New MODules and a slight redesign
So I finally managed to listen to all the 5000+ modules in modarchive.com 2008 additions
and made a "digest" - check out the modarchive 2008 digest.
You might not like all (or any) of them - it's the music I like after all - but
I really tried to be as objective as I could and choose the quality stuff.
On a completely unrelated note, I made some changes to the site structure and design, more changes
and (hopefully) content should follow.
